Gaskets

Aramid fibre and graphite gaskets

* one of the main products in our range covering 80% of requirements
* manufactured to all DIN, EN and ANSI standards
* can be supplied as a customised gasket for special applications
* customised gaskets made to customers’ measurements
* Authorisations: DVGW, KTW, BAM, food safe (FDA), TRD, TA (technical instructions) on air quality control and fire safety
* the materials used to make the gaskets can be found under gasket sheets

Elastomer gaskets

Our company manufactures elastomer gaskets singly up to series production. Please refer to the elastomer sheets index for details of the elastomers used.

Spiral-wound gaskets

These are manufactured with graphite and PTFE fillings with the standard versions having an inner ring of high-grade steel. The outer ring is made of chrome steel. Other materials can also be supplied on request.

Corrugated compound gaskets

These are manufactured with graphite or PTFE coatings. They can also be supplied with PTFE-Y and U envelopes.

Ring joint gaskets

Ring joint gaskets are subject to heavy loads because of the areas they are used in. Precise, accurate manufacture is particularly important here because of the metallic raw materials used. The gaskets can be manufactured in different materials in both oval and octagonal shape.

Camprofile gaskets

The most commonly used camprofile gaskets are those with both sides coated with PTFE or graphite. Because of this the material determines the gasket’s stability. Camprofile gaskets are manufactured in many different versions. Thanks to this great variety combined with their outstanding reliability in use, they offer a level of sealing reliability that is probably unbeatable in high pressure applications.

Gaskets with inner flanges

1.Aramid fibre gaskets with inner flanges

Aramid fibre gaskets with metallic inserts provide protection against blowout or ejection of the composite material owing to high loads.

Applications:
For DIN flanged joints in industrial plants, for cooling compressors and air compressors, for threaded joints with very narrow ring surfaces, as for example in gas burning installations and hot water heaters as well as in radiators, pumps, appliances, instruments, gears and many other areas as well.

2.Graphite gaskets with inner flanges

The metallic insert provides mechanical reinforcement for the gasket. In addition, it serves to protect the sealing material from the medium, e.g. from aggressive media, it prevents the gasket components from dissolving out and escaping and prevents contamination of the medium.

Applications:
These gaskets are used in areas requiring sealing that are under high mechanical and thermal load, e.g. exhaust and intake manifolds and high pressure pumps.
These gaskets are used in the chemical industry because of their excellent durability
